The New Leaf Academy is a Delphi Program school. We use the same curriculum and program as the Delphian School in Sheridan, Oregon. As an affiliate of the Delphian school, we share their mission to empower young adults to bring positive change in the world through reason, creativity and integrity.
Students fail to learn because they have never been taught how to learn. We use a method of study which allows a person to successfully learn any subject. This Study Technology (Study Tech) was developed by L. Ron Hubbard.
L. Ron Hubbard was a writer, an engineer, a philosopher, an educator and a researcher whose discoveries and writing cover a wide range of secular (non-religious) activity. Mr. Hubbard studied and wrote at length about methods of learning which markedly improve a student’s ability to understand and apply what is being studied.
Once mastered, Study Tech enables students to take a genuine control over their education and, ultimately, their futures. Empowering students with an ability to study is an investment that pays off for a lifetime.
Racial Nondiscriminatory Policy
New Leaf Academy admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
